I was here for a work event and enjoyed the space. It seemed like an older building, but it is in very good shape. There are so many rooms and spaces in here and lots of bathrooms. All of the bathrooms I visited were clean and neat. They even had actual changing tables in them with wipes and extra toilet paper. They use cute cloths instead of paper towels. They have a bar area that leads into one of the rooms we were using and their office/reception area is on that same level. There were building staff present the entire night to assist with our needs. Their staff served the food quickly and also cleaned up quickly. They were professional and helpful. Everyone at this space was amazing and if I were to go here for another event, I know I’d enjoy myself.

I've been a member for a while, been coming here since smoking was ubiquitous. Recent changes in layout are great. Easier menus are good.
If you've never been it's a really big place. Three restaurants, one giant bar/terrace/lounge. There are other areas for special events.
Food level is a medium/budget cruise line. Service is usually decent.
An evening on the terrace with some nice folks and a meal are very nice. Live music is available SOMEWHERE nearly every evening.
Most 'special events' are problematic, like large banquets are anywhere. It's either a buffet (or 4 or 9 ) or food that can hopefully take being in a warmer for a bit.
July 4th has become tiresome. Too many folks, and more 'guests' than members. New Years is a blast, with folks actually dressing like adults and generally having fun like adults. Evening gowns and a tux are not required but predominate- and SHOULD.
Well...this is an edit. JUST spent NYE and....
Bleah. Men dressing like Jim Rockford and folks Jim wouldn't associate with.
Sigh.
Other holidays and events are all over the place. My wife and I recently went to 'Lobster Fest' and it would have been better observed by non-attendance. Thanksgiving and Mothers Day are generally enjoyable. Wedding receptions generally depend on the size of the budget....

If you want to have a nice dinner that you should visit The Club on the hills of Birmingham. You could view all the city under your foot and might dance on the floor of which John Travolta dance on his movie Saturday Night Fever.
The only bad thing that if you are sitting on the outside during the night time that you could see lots of cockroaches around your table since you are in the nature of them. Cheers.

I used to work here. Very nice atmosphere. The staff make you feel welcome and everyone is friendly. As an employee, I encountered awesome members. Great place to be. If you ever meet Glenn or Brian, they are the coolest guys there!!! They do a lot to make that place what it is. I don’t work there anymore so this isn’t for brownie points. It really is a nice place and I enjoyed being a part of it

Anniversary. If you have not tried it yet, order the Chia-tea Bourbon cocktail! It is one of the best drinks I have ever tasted.
