AMAZING Course right here. Worth every penny. Brand new carts….Friendly staff… Course was in amazing condition. One of the best rolled greens we’ve played on this year. Recommend this to anyone. The layout is fun. Concrete cart paths are just a bonus.

This is still a very challenging course, but some of that is due to the shape that it is in. Most greens are impossible to putt on, some had deep ruts and some where essentially another bunker.

Rough and fairway were not normal grass, it just all seemed like st augustine and crab grass cut to different lengths. The course is a shell of its former self, as the layout is very good but man it needs a lot of help.

Staff is great and the only shining part of this old course.

We enjoyed our first round ever in Florida having traveled from Las Vegas for tournament play. To be greeted personally by the course owner and his wife was a special moment that I won’t forget. I saw that a great deal of effort is being applied toward bringing the course up to par - friendly, knowledgeable staff to help you navigate, tee options to accommodate all skill levels and visible effort being applied to improve course conditions. Everyone is hands-on and thoroughly invested in customer service. We’ll be back to enjoy this diamond in the rough!

We the Black Golf Alliance had the pleasure and opportunity to golf on a Black owned coarse. The hospitality was great and that was from all of the staff and the owner Stan Campbell. Stan told us about the work that had been done and the vision for the future. It’s a must when you golf in Florida. I will be back and bring people with me?‍♀️?

We decided to have my daughter 15th birthday at the Martin Down Country club and it was the perfect venue for the event. Moreover, Falene the event coordinator, was a joy to work with (all the staff went above and beyond to make this night magical). I've never planned anything like this before so Falene was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was also very helpful with providing us vendor information, such as the DJ (which we ended up choosing). We also had a 360 photo booth and fairy hair stations set up for our guest. We started the event with a cocktail hour and Hors d'Oeuvres at the patio, and we also had the girls locker area reserved for us for dress changes. The ballroom was decorated by us and they allowed for us to come in very early to set up everything exactly how we wanted it. We did our own centerpieces and brought up-lights, and set up a candy station and a hanging cake display. The most noteworthy thing, (and we received many compliments) was the food created by Chef Charles and his exceptional culinary team. At first, we were not sure about doing appetizers during cocktail hour but we are so glad we did. It gave our guest a little preview about what was to come. We choose buffet style and had a meeting about two weeks before with chef Charles to discuss menu details. We can't put into words how excellent the food was. We were blown away. I think this is the best venue in town to have a formal event. I think everything was fairly priced and the team was very accommodating such as providing Kosher/Halal options for family members with dietary restrictions. I would highly recommend! We will definitely be back for other events!

Really nice course, they do a great job keeping up with the maintenance. The greens could use a little love but the cart service makes up for it! Everyone here is so kind and you cant beat the rates.

Only the reason I gave it one star is because when you first arrive at the course guy who gives you your cart is very friendly. As for the course for itself great layout but does Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles take care of it. The greens are horrendous one of the worst courses I ever played.

Nice course but downsides are good looking but hard/not enough sand in bunkers, no course map on score card or cart although it's easy to find your way from hole to hole, and they have a big sign when you head out on the course saying all carts must be in by 6:30 which is ridiculous since it's an hour before sunset and 1.5 hours before dark. Had a tee time at 3:30 and didn't get to finish. We stayed out later than 6:30 since no one came to tell us to come in but didn't finish since we were worried they would charge us for being late. Without the map it makes it harder to stop in the middle of the round to get back to the clubhouse by 6:30. Definitely won't be back unless I get a great deal for earlier in the day.
