This rink is definitely not the closest to my house, but it’s worth every minute in the car to get there. The staff there and the coaches who teach their, the in-house hockey program, and the club hockey, California Heat, are top tier. I came here originally for my son’s private skating instructor, and stayed for the family atmosphere and excellence in their hockey program and also the day-to-day staff. When you spend this much time anywhere, you want to feel at home and know that your kid is safe and has the best possible experience when playing a sport that does financially cost more than others. This rink checks all the boxes. It might not be the fanciest but there is a reason so many families drive from far to come here. Thanks Ice Valley!!!!

Came to LA Valley Ice Center for the first time after having been going to Pickwick in Burbank and, immediately, I was very happy with their customer service. Stacey and Donna were both very helpful regarding my admission and helped me understand the different sessions and all. The facility and ice could use some love, but the staff was a pleasure to work with and meet.

I regret to say that my recent visit to the LA Kings Ice Rink was far from satisfactory. The staff working that day seemed to be under a lot of stress, perhaps due to being short-staffed or facing unexpected challenges. However, their attitude was notably poor, which made the experience quite unpleasant. It's possible they were dealing with a high volume of customers, causing them to be overwhelmed and unable to provide adequate service. Additionally, it appeared that there may have been some miscommunication among the staff members, leading to confusion and frustration. While I understand that everyone has off days, the level of unprofessionalism displayed by the staff was disappointing. Unfortunately, these factors greatly impacted my enjoyment of the facility, and I would hesitate to recommend it to others until improvements are made.

I can't get a soda to drink on all machines. A little dirty on floors. It's cold there.

This was my first time going to this rink. I like that the name is on the building in big letters, easy to spot. It has its own parking lot but it’s kinda small. Google says street parking is tough in the area and I can see that.

There are two skating surfaces inside. A front rink and a back rink. Public skating was on the back rink when I went. Hockey in the front. I was there during the week in the afternoon, so the ice wasn’t crowded and it was smooth.

Word to the wise, this rink is cold!! I know how to dress for the weather and for ice skating and I needed gloves and another layer here. The only other rink I’ve been to that was really cold like this one was Iceland in Van Nuys. Definitely coming back just wearing more layers.

They’re doing construction in foyer but they’re open.
