Our team just got red carded because our coach went to check on the opposing team's player... The refs literally just ended the game because they got upset and did not communicate! What exactly are we all paying for?... Fix your tempers if you're taking my money and let the children play!! Highly unprofessional!

This league is atrocious by most regards. Fields are not well kept, the league is unprofessional but every metric (changing league format with no warning, lying to teams, uncommunicative), but definitely the worst part is the referees. Folks, we are talking referees who don't understand the basic laws of the game and who are on a power trip. Fights are constant since they don't know how to manage games. I have had multiple games end before the 90 minute mark because the referees simply wanted to go home.
Don't even get me started on Mickey, the supposed "head of the referees". The man will not talk to you if you have a complaint and is only interested in making sure his refs are always right. Interesting how the teams pay fees, but it seems like he thinks he is above answering to his paying customers. Atrocious league and I would have no complaints if they shut their doors for good.

They don’t take good care of the fields and when there’s rain outs just know that games won’t be rescheduled and your team will not be compensated of their hard work and efforts

Refs in this league are a joke very unprofessional and don’t know the rules of the games. Refs will curse at a player and when you stand up for yourself they give out red cards with no questions asked or addressing the issue. And you bring the issue to The director that oversees the games he tells you to get out his face. They have 0 respect for players. Save your money for better leagues. This league is definitely not worth it it’s a joke

Refs are not good at all. If you plan on choosing a place to play with a club stay away from Arlington.... They need to get some decent refs out here. It isn't just 1, but multiple refs that have no idea what they are doing.... Kids are getting hurt left and right because they don't hold the kids that are fouling accountable ... (On both teams) They need to get their refs either training or have a better selection.... ESPECIALLY. Playing club and in a tournament......

Referees are mostly terrible. They seem to have their favorite teams and will ignore calls against them. Instead they will penalize the opposing teams for anything they can think of. It's supposed to be a recreational league, but the leagues are half made up of select club teams, which rapidly demoralizes non- club teams and players who are in their first seasons playing. Some of the kids and parents I have spoken to are reluctant to sign up again because of this. No wonder soccer in the US is on such a decline.

Absolutely horrible. Had to contact Nicky Bottkol two times for any information on my child's schedule to which her responses were absolutely unprofessional and not helpful whatsoever. I just wanted to see if there was a schedule for my child (their games were scheduled to start in a week and we have not heard anything at all.) We had received nothing, no phone call, no email, absolutely nothing. Not only did she ignore any previous emails I had sent, but apparently could not even send over a soccer schedule, just gave me the coaches phone number to call. I will never use Arlington Soccer Association again. Wish I could give zero stars.

The teams refuse to travel to other cities for their scheduled games. 3 different Arlington teams no showed to their scheduled games in Waxahachie this season, against our team alone.
