City Club has been a wonderful place to call home for the last year! Convenient location, responsive management, fun amenities, modern living spaces! Felicia, Tasha and the team have worked hard to make changes to old issues and are super communicative, friendly and always do their best.

Weekly social events have been great for a KC newcomer and remote worker to meet the wonderful staff and residents. It’s a great community!

My boyfriend and I moved into this apartment building 3 weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier. The amenities, views, and apartments themselves are gorgeous. Not only do you have all of the amazing amenities but you also have a dollar general that is connected to the apartment building. Everything is so clean and everyone is so nice! We worked with Aloette in the office through out our whole process and she is AMAZING! She is so sweet, super understanding and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

This is supposed to be a luxury apartment building. As a visitor, it looks nice, and no doubt you’ll be wowed on your visit, but with move-in, you may get a FILTHY building with nasty floors with the smells of weed, cigarettes, and dog urine; AirBnB’ers from Airriva (28 units in the building); hot and mildewy/bad-smelling parking garage; cheap budget elevators that are frequently down and people have been stuck in; disgusting rooftop pool/hot tub, and poor attention to detail all over.

The manager made an effort to have the floors clean, which helped the hallway carpets immensely, but the lobby floors looks just as bad as before cleaning. When you visit, pay attention to the nasty flooring there. The tile and grout should be white, but instead it is dingy and gross, due to lack of proper cleaning.

The parking garage is a steamy hot eyesore. It smells musty and there are constant water leaks. There have also been plenty of break-ins.

There are few cameras installed in the common areas, holding no one accountable for destruction of property and potentially making residents feel unsafe.

Construction has also had to come back more times than I can count to fix outstanding issues in the building. Things such as a non-working dishwasher and garbage disposal hardwired without a switch, ice maker that does not work properly, and non-working oven in the clubroom, a leaky hallway ceiling after they were in to fix the previously existing issues, issues with the pool and pool cleanliness, and multiple issues in my apartment. At the time of writing, half of these issues remain.

The building still doesn't deserve anywhere near a "luxury" rating and the 3+ star rating it has received is generous at best.

AVOID CCA AT ALL COSTS!! I just recently left CCA and the horror stories that I have from it + many many MANY other tenants had with it are absurd for a luxury apartment building!! Don’t be fooled by the cute art deco aesthetics, or the promise of amenities that hardly ever work, or the promised high quality management!! This place has SO many issues with it, i probs cant list them all here. The management has changed MULTIPLE times over the past year - and has awful communication with its residents and asks absurd prices for absurdly awful treatment.

My main grievance with CCA was when on 01/18/2024 - there was a fire sprinkler pipe that burst and FLOODED multiple floors / units and aside from those that were majorly affected - the management did little to nothing for the rest of us with damage. The entire carpets in hallways on the levels below unit 621 were completely flooded - including my own. There was water in the walls, coming from vents, and POURING into the electrical closets. My unit was on next to the electrical closet and there was SO MUCH WATER pouring into it that my SOCKETS were popping. There were tenants with mold in their baseboards afterwards and I’m sure there is mold in many many more places considering they really didn’t tend to the situation properly considering they had only ONE of the maintenance guys on the property to take care of it bcuz they were in between management and also basically all their staff quit in winter of 2023/2024. Multiple calls to the health department were made by MULTIPLE tenants and the inspectors could do little to nothing about the situation - but TRUST.. there was SO much water damage and nothing was really done to help many tenants who had damage.

They also have a major security problem - a woman was stalked by a homeless man who was able to get into the building bcuz hardly any of the locks work - and he left a note beneath her door for her! (What a cute surprise!!) they’ve hired security since but be warned - the locks still don’t work.

Cars are always getting broken into - which isn’t the property’s fault, but more of just a general crossroads warning. I had my car stolen 3 weeks into living at CCA and my partner had the tire stolen off his jeep.

Look up CCA in business insider and it will tell you ALL you need to know!! Let this be a HUGE warning!! I fell for how cute the building is + the amenities but it’s all looks!!

DONT BE FOOLED!! Don’t waste your money here!!

Have lived here for almost a year now and love it! The building and amenities facilities are clean and well maintained and the location cannot be beat. Felicia, the new property manger, is great and consistently goes above and beyond to deliver a luxury experience for all residents. Highly recommend City Club!

They changed management companies the month I moved out. It’s been 13 weeks and corporate won’t respond back to me what happened to my deposit. They were careless also with a money order I gave them in November to reserve the club room for a Friendsgiving party. They didn’t reserve the space and lost my money order which had to be reissued at my expense. They said I would be reimbursed for the reissue fee in my deposit. But my deposit is over 6 weeks late and no one will return my calls or emails.

Caution. They will ghost you when they change hands.

I reside in a residence that claims to be luxurious; however, there are several shortcomings. The garage fees are exorbitant ($140-180) whereas this one has very regular problems like the garage door not closing. Also, half of the gym dumbbells has been missing for a year despite my repeated requests for resolution, and there are leaks in the gym area.

I would advise prospective residents to carefully consider the location of their apartment within the building. It's possible to be disturbed by noise from the gym and party hall.

Otherwise, the building is well located. Maintenance responds quickly to any problem
