While the location in Scottsdale certainly promises much, my experience at this golf course left much to be desired, especially considering the price. The practice areas felt lackluster, and the general maintenance of the course during the peak season did not meet expectations. This was rather disappointing.

Additionally, the ambiance was somewhat disrupted by dirt bikers navigating the peripheries of the course, which seemed out of place during a round of golf.

Our gameplay was also negatively affected by congestion on the course. Despite maintaining a good pace, we faced constant interruptions from the group behind us, leading to an uncomfortable situation where the course marshal directed undue frustration at us rather than addressing the actual cause of the delay. Eventually, it was acknowledged that the hold-up was due to other groups further ahead, but this realization came too late to alleviate the earlier tension.

Overall, the experience felt like it lacked the dedication and polish one would expect from a prestigious location, leading to a less than satisfactory visit.

I played in the US Open Pro/Am tournament on Father’s Day 2023 at Stonecreek Golf Club after swearing I would never play this course again about 15 years ago. I was a very poor golfer back then and my game has improved and I approach shots with a different lens now and I really enjoyed playing this course for the first time ever. There are plenty of blind shots, so knowing the course is a big help and plenty of 2nd shots that have to clear the creek, which has foliage and bushes galore protecting it. Played with my good buddy Gary and that’s always a bunch of laughs. One thing I was not expecting were all of the pedestrians walking the cart paths. The facility is nice with a driving range and chip and putt area as well. Finished with food and no prizes because we still are not that good, but had a blast. One of those courses that can eat your lunch or you can be really proud of a good score…just stay out of the bushes, creek and water!

Tonight, I enjoyed the Stonecreek Bar & Grille on one of two per month Monday night Team Trivia nights beginning at 5:30pm.
My team ordered the Crushburger with French Fries for the choice of sides, the Hot Pastrami Sandwhich with French Fries for the choice of sides, and the Tres Tacos with smoke green chili pork, served with chips, and don't forget to order an extra side of black beans to go with it!

The Stonecreek Bar & Grille is the Restaurant on the Golf Resort Property. They host Team Trivia two Mondays per month at 5:30pm and Bingo one Friday per month at 5:30pm.
After tonight, I think I'm going to slowly work my way through the delicious menu, which seems worth exploring, while trying to bring friends to join my team on one of the two Monday Trivia Nights.

The Team Trivia host invites a warm competitive atmosphere amongst the cheerful crowd. I highly recommend gathering your own playfully witty group of characters to round out the random knowledge base of information your team will need to climb the point board!!!

(It's easy to register your team with the restaurant staff by calling ahead to name your team and let them know how many your table will need.)

We indulged our inner bar and grille banter amongst our team before submitting our answers in each category to the Team Trivia Host each round.

I saw several tables of friends, and carefully cultivated teams, drink their favorite spirits when opening a tab for the night, and feeding their souls with comfort food menu options and guessing their team's way to Trivia point glory.

I suggest you check out the Stonecreek Bar and Grille restaurant, and maybe you'll see our team there, we were 7th out of 15 teams tonight!

I’d give zero stars if I could. I agree with other reviews that the marshal who kept coming around and telling us we were an absurd amount of time behind really killed the whole experience. When we started, no one was even in front of us and the group behind us was an entire hole behind.

Breakfast was awful. I had the breakfast sandwich which was so greasy it was dripping everywhere. Bun was burnt. For the quality of the food, it was hardly even worth half what we were charged. Waitress was super friendly, however.

Greens were not kept up. Course had garbage everywhere. It was also extremely wet and muddy. For the price, I’ll stick with Dove Valley Ranch in Cave Creek’s back 9 for a more friendly experience and kept up course.

I stopped by for lunch and was blown away. I was told to try the Turkey Bacon Avocado since the turkey is smoked in house and it was fantastic. Highly recommended, great food with a great view of the golf course. Jeff and his team are doing a great job!

I've been treated rude here 2 of the 4 times I've been here. Marshall is overly aggressive. For the price that is not tolerable for me. When you pay allot I expect to be treated with respect. The course is also up and down for maintance.

Course was not ran well and very distracting. T time was 6am. Literally every hole there were workers mowing, watering, or working on it. Sprinklers were all on and one filled the entire fairway. We even had to get drenched in the fairway just to grab our ball and get someplace dry. For $100 a round, you would think it would be a much better experience.

Played here again today because my buddy wanted to play here.
It doesn't seem as if the Grounds crew knows they should not park their vehicles on the 18th green. See the picture of the grounds crew hanging out off the 18th green at 10:30am on a Thursday.

I had to chip over their cart and equipment instead of putt.

In general, the ground crew is horrible. Watering is just awful. Swamps in the fairway, bunkers full of water, dead and dry spots all over fairways.

This company needs lots of changes to make playing here desirable.

Poor Arcis experience! The course was under construction and the greens were bumpy. The worst is the the time of play, my experience has always been close to 5 hours at Stonecreek. We check in at 11:00 and told the early tournament is on the back nine so the pace of play will actually be faster on the back nine. The course marshalls were nice guys but useless in pushing to increase the pace of play. We finished in 4-hours 55 minutes and waited on every hole from hole 2 on. Often times, like on hole 7, there were four groups on the hole and the marshalls no-where to be seen. Management needs to work on course managment to make Stonecreek an enjoyable experience. I will stick to the other Arcis courses in the near furture.
